Alicia Meno, Ed.D.

Alicia Meno earned her Doctorate of Education from DePaul University, Chicago, and is the author of Professional Development Reform (2008). Former Chicago Public school teacher, she has served as professional development coordinator, curriculum designer, administrator, and teacher-librarian at schools in the US and Latin America. She is currently the director of Crecer Juntos Educational Services in the Riviera Maya, Mexico, and the international marketing director at eLearn.

Jim Conklin, MFA

Jim Conklin has been teaching and administrating throughout North America, South America and Asia for the past 17 years. He currently is the Director of Education at eLearn. Previously, Jim served as a High School principal, assistant principal, curriculum designer, English and Social Studies Department Head, teacher and coach. He is a graduate of University of British Columbia, Canada with a M.F.A. in creative writing, and teaching certification with the Ontario College of Teachers. His specialties include High School curriculum development, online education, current affairs education and creative writing.

Tom Conklin, Ed.D.

Tom Conklin, Ed D., is the District Curriculum Consultant responsible for English, Social Studies and Literacy in the publicly funded Ottawa Catholic School Board. Tom has taught in Botswana, Colombia and Canada. He holds a Masters Degree in Educational Psychology and he earned a doctorate at the University of Toronto for his study on learning in high school online discussion. He has taught both fully online and blended courses for over 10 years and has developed a variety of online curricula in the areas of History, Geography, Philosophy and World Issues.

James Bott, M.Ed.

James Bott is in his 16th year of teaching. He has lived and taught in South Korea, Colombia, Saudi Arabia and now works in Ottawa, Canada. He presently teaches high school English, and is a business writing instructor at a local college. For the last 7 years, James has been an integral lead in online learning in his district. He graduated with a B.Ed in 1994 and an M.Ed in 2000. His specialties include online learning, curriculum design, and literacy for applied learners.
